Guardianships

 The Court can grant a guardianship of a minor child or an incapacitated adult that is no longer able to take care or themself or their finances.

STEPPARENT ADOPTION

If you have been married for more than six (6) months, you can file for a stepparent adoption if your spouse consents and if the other biological parent either 1) consents or 2) has failed to communicate with or pay child support for the child for more than one (1) year. 

wILLS & POWER OF ATTORNEY

Will:  You can leave your possessions to your loved ones and ensure the Court will oversee this process by signing a Will.

Power of Attorney: You can name someone to be in charge of your finances, manage your assets, or testify on your behalf in Court.
